First time to the clinic, or over a year since your last visit, please book an Initial Assessment (1hr) AND 3-4 follow-up treatments with the same physiotherapist that works with your schedule, one week apart, to secure your spot in their schedule

  • Whitby patients - We are NOT wheelchair accessible, parking located at the back of the house and please enter through front of the house and watch your step coming in.

  • Newcastle patients - there are 12 stairs to get into the office. (if you cannot do stairs please call the office ASAP)

  • Please review your insurance coverage prior to the visit, payment is due at the end of each visit, we DO NOT direct bill to insurance companies

  • We strongly encourage patients to be “FRAGRANCE FREE” when attending the clinic.

We require 24 hrs notice for cancellation or a cancellation fee will be applied

Pelvic health physiotherapy is the assessment and treatment of various conditions involving the pelvis and the pelvic floor muscles. The assessment may involve checking back, hips and pelvis, internal and external examination of the pelvic floor muscles, breathing mechanics, and any other areas that are being affected. Treatment may involve a hands-on approach, home exercise program, pain education and management strategies, and other treatment modalities.


Ana Whelan received her Bachelor of Physical and Health Education from Queen’s University in 1994 and her Bachelor of Education from Ottawa University in 1995. After teaching for the Toronto District School Board for 3 years, she decided to pursue her passion for Physiotherapy. In 2000, she graduated from McMaster University’s Physiotherapy program.

Over the past 19 years, Ana has completed her advanced manual physiotherapy orthopaedic courses Level I-III and employs a hands-on, manual therapy approach with her patients. She has taken many continuing education courses over the years including acupuncture, manual lymph drainage, prevention of running injuries, osteoporosis treatment and prevention, and most recently courses in pelvic health physiotherapy.
