Kowndiya Amirthalingam received her Master of Physical Therapy at Western University in 2020 and prior to that obtained her Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology Co-op at Waterloo University in 2018. She is passionate about working one on one with her patients to provide them with the knowledge, education and tools necessary to maximize their function and reach their health and lifestyle goals. She hopes to motivate her patients to stay active and help them take control of their own health. Her treatment techniques involve patient education, manual therapy, soft tissue release and exercise prescription. Kowndiya has a special interest in pelvic floor and women’s health. Lavanya Amirthalingam completed her Masters of Science in Physical Therapy in 2020 at the University of Western Ontario and her Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology Co-op at the University of Waterloo in 2018. Lavanya is fascinated by the resiliency of the human body and is dedicated to approaching care through a holistic lens. She has a passion for pelvic health and is committed to providing her patients with the right tools to help regain control of their body and improve their quality of life.
Lavanya utilizes education, individualized exercise programs and manual therapy techniques including cupping, joint mobilizations, myofascial release and kinesio-taping to help restore optimal function and prevent re-injury. Ana Whelan received her Bachelor of Physical and Health Education from Queen’s University in 1994 and her Bachelor of Education from Ottawa University in 1995. After teaching for the Toronto District School Board for 3 years, she decided to pursue her passion for Physiotherapy. In 2000, she graduated from McMaster University’s Physiotherapy program.
Over the past 19 years, Ana has completed her advanced manual physiotherapy orthopaedic courses Level I-III and employs a hands-on, manual therapy approach with her patients.
